Biography

State Senator Luke Kenley represents Senate District 20, which is composed of portions of Hamilton County. First elected to the Senate in 1992, Kenley serves as Chair of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, and is also a member of the Senate Committees on Tax & Fiscal Policy, and Education & Career Development.

Prior to his election to the Senate, Kenley served as the Noblesville City Court Judge and in the United States Army as well as running the family business. He has served on the Indiana Republican Party Platform Committee numerous times and as a board member for the Noblesville Boys and Girls Club. Kenley is also a member of the Elks Lodge #576, the American Legion and the Hamilton County 50 Club.

A graduate of Miami University of Ohio (B.A.) and Harvard Law School, Luke and his wife Sally live in Noblesville and attend First United Methodist Church.
